Mint Mojito Mocktail

Hey guys, here’s my easypeasy but still tasty and refreshing mojito mocktail recipe! I hope you enjoy it – let me know how it tastes.

Ingredients:

3 tbsp (brown) sugar

bunch of mint leaves (a small bunch but if, like me, you like your mint add more)

5/6 limes

1 litre bottle lemonade (could be a cheap own brand, 7up – anything)

Method:

  1. Using a pestle and mortar, muddle the mint and sugar together. If you don’t have a pestle and mortar, just use a bowl and a spoon or back of a rolling pin. The more you muddle, the more the mint comes out in the drink.
  2. Squeeze out the juice of the limes and add this in to the muddled mint and mix.
  3. Fill a tall glass with some ice (crushed or cubed) and spoon the mint mix in. Top this with the lemonade and add some extra mint leaves and a lemon wedge too.
  4. Simply dip in a straw and enjoy.

For a twist…

Crush raspberries into the mint mix for a raspberry twist 🙂
