Hey guys, here’s my easypeasy but still tasty and refreshing mojito mocktail recipe! I hope you enjoy it – let me know how it tastes.
3 tbsp (brown) sugar
bunch of mint leaves (a small bunch but if, like me, you like your mint add more)
1 litre bottle lemonade (could be a cheap own brand, 7up – anything)
- Using a pestle and mortar, muddle the mint and sugar together. If you don’t have a pestle and mortar, just use a bowl and a spoon or back of a rolling pin. The more you muddle, the more the mint comes out in the drink.
- Squeeze out the juice of the limes and add this in to the muddled mint and mix.
- Fill a tall glass with some ice (crushed or cubed) and spoon the mint mix in. Top this with the lemonade and add some extra mint leaves and a lemon wedge too.
- Simply dip in a straw and enjoy.
For a twist…
Crush raspberries into the mint mix for a raspberry twist 🙂
